We are The United Colors Project. We are friends, unified by a shared purpose. We are communities unified by a common cause. We are a diverse coalition of artists, activists, and citizens unified by our efforts to create a more equitable future. We are energized by the recent infusion of joy into our toil and the expressions of hope rippling across the electorate. We are meeting the moment by fusing design with activism, spreading awareness, fueling hype, and raising funds for causes that matter to us.

Our current focus: THE 2024 ELECTION.

We are THE UNITED COLORS PROJECT and these are

There's a meaningful backstory to this project, born of a lifelong friendship that started over 50 years ago on Overhill Lane between two little girls (Kate and Amy). They grew up to live on opposite coasts but remain close. That's not really the focus here, though. The focus is COLORS FOR KAMALA. Over the course of a Sunday afternoon catch-up call in late July, they started kicking around an idea inspired by the events of that day. In less than two months— and many sleepless nights later— it has become a reality.

There are plans for The United Colors Project that reach beyond our current focus (and nail polish). But time feels short, and our to-do lists are long. So we're keeping our energies and intentions in the present, doing what we can to help win this election.

We'll share more of our story and plans at some point, for sure. For now, we want to acknowledge the extraordinary support from friends and generous collaborators who have lent their time and talents to our effort. Some of the most crucial advisors and contributors are listed below. We're grateful to them, everyone who has helped along the way, and you for being here. It really does take a village.
